Participants pay as you play with stand-alone classes in Salsa dancing. These cater to all levels of dancer. Drop-in classes are a way to practice Salsa once a week without committing to the courses. The social after the classes is not to be missed!! It is the longest running and most popular mid-week Salsa party in town!

DANCING COURSES (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Participants sign-up for a 6 weeks course in dancing. These cater to all beginner to improver levels of dancers. We have discovered that dancers gain confidence faster when basics are practised in a continuous way. New techniques are taught weekly. Salsa classes are a great way to make new friends, work connections and/or meet that somebody special.

If you want to learn to understand music better, as well as improve your relationship with your partner AND the music, look no further than this course!
Level*4 & level*5 dancers (advanced Improvers to Advanced),
this one is for you!!

This course is for those that understand lead & follow concepts and have the coordination to follow shines (footwork) patterns. All that’s missing is the GROOVE. You wish to learn how to really DANCE; like those social dancers on the Youtube videos or on the dance floor of your favourite social.

TSS director, Regan; will personally teach these courses!
The format will include learning mini choreographed routines, as well as lessons in ‘groove theory’ and ‘musicality’. Come and learn some of these dance secrets and MANY MORE from his years of international dance experience!!

In order to keep the class level high; participation in this course is strictly by invite only. Most participants in this course have +-5 years Salsa dancing experience. Please contact us if you wish to find out if you qualify.

 

PRIVATE LESSONS (Daily)

We provide the option of private lessons to get the annoying basics out of the way smoother, and join higher level classes much sooner. Private lessons are a great way to learn dance as the lesson is far more personal; informative and intensive. Private lessons are held at one of our venues, or at a place of your choosing. We offer one or two teachers (couple) for solo or couples.

Here’s and explanation of our classes & levels’ names in relation to experience:

Levels*1 - Absolute beginners to Salsa dancing start here
Level*2 - Advanced beginners
Level*3- Improvers level. You have the basics down, and now wish to start getting more technical
Level*4 - Intermediate to advanced intermediate dancers
Level *5 – Advanced intermediate to advanced dancers fit in here.
Level *6 – Salsa on2 (New York Mambo) for Intermediate to Advanced dancers. It is recommended that one dances Salsa on1 for at least 1 year before converting to Salsa on2

The DANCE DEVELOPMENT COURSE – Experienced dancers aim to develop a more fun & intricate relationship with the music and with the partner. Level*4 and up
Level*5 Advanced Salsa course on1 & on2 – Your years of Salsa experience will be pushed to the limits as dancers learn very intricate and difficult partnering as well as freestyle and groove techniques.
